At the inquest on the body of Grohn. the Crown counsel stated that the original certificate of death posted to the Registrar was missing and apparently had never been received, The undertaker who buried the body at the Registrar's request supplied particulars two years later. The undertaker gave evidence that Ciohn had every appearance of having died from the effects 1 of drink. He saw no wounds.
Morris repeated his evidence given at the criminal trial, adding that he had not stopped Xorton once, but thousands of times, from knocking Grohn down. He treated him more like a dog than a man. The inquest was again adjourned till Friday.
