At l.indau. on the Swiss-Austrian frontier, a middle-aged man named Huhler was married the other day. and the pa-tor had barely concluded th 1 ceremony, when the biidegroom, who had been complaining of the heat, fell uncon-eious at the feet of his young bride at the foot of the altar. Among his friends who were in flic chunh was a doctor, uho hastened to his side.
Huhler. however, was beyond human aid, having succumbed to an attack of apoplexy. Hi- hysierli al bride, whom fate bad made a wife and widow within a few minutes, was gently led out of the church, and a hcar>e transported the dead bridegroom to his home.
