THE JONES-FLOWEE LITI. GATION, Per Press Association. Wellington, October 5. Messrs Flower & Flower, soli -iitors for the executors of Mr W. flower (deceased), for whom we aci .lore, have sent us an office copy of thi order. From a perusal of this document, we find that the order of the 27tL July, 1904, upon which Mr Joshui. Jones was on the 27th July last to pa\ 817.000 to the executors of Mr VV. Slower, and failing this to execute ii their favour a yalid mortgago over thi properly to secure that amount ani. interest, has been modified as follows: t'hc executors of Mr Flower to convej the estate to Mr Jones, subject to th existing _ tenancies, and Mr Jones t, sign a withdrawal of his caveat and ti execute a luungage of the property ti secure the £17,500 and interest, thi transfer of the mortgage and with drawal of caveat to be depos.ted with Mr Flower's executors as, security foi sad sum of £17,000 and interest; 01 payment on or before 30lh November, 190b', of the said sum of £17,500 anJ interest at 3 per cent, per annum, Mi blower's executors to hand withdrawal of caveat and said U'ausfcr to Mr Jones, and to cancel said mortgage, and to dc iuch other acts at the cxpenso of Mi Jones as may be necessary to vest ih. ostate in him j it default be made 11, payment of the said £17,500 on or before 30th November, IUO6, the sale executors to be at liberty to registei their mortgage in Acw Zealand; th, operation ol the consent order of 27t1. July, 1904. to be suspended until 30th November, IUOC, when it shall cease 11 1 fresh agreement bo performed by Mi Jones, but if not, it shall have effect, subject to the fresh modifications abov» stated.
[ln connection with the Jones Flower litigation, Mr Jones, writing ti the editor of the " Tabanaki JDaiia Mews," under date London, 22m August, says that Wickhain Flower was held to he solicitor trustee for hiii (Jones), and not owner as ho claim.ee to be.]
