Tho "Psyche" cases w re resumed at the Police Court this mo-nini-o George Bower Chignell was charged with having sold an indecent picture. to wit, a picture of •T-yc'ac's Bath.' and Leonard Lawrence, another po - lure dealer, was charged with a similar offence in respect to pictures o: "Psyches Baih"" and -Psyche at Nature's Mirror.'' Evidence was given bv the Matron of the Door of Hope and two Salvation Army representatives, who condemned the pictures. A number of prominent men,- including journalists, e'ergymen. and teachers of ar gave evdener for the dfence. •tating the pictures wen- works c; art. in which every eVment of indecency had been excluded. Di-trier Judge Kettle reserved his decision.
