FIRE AT MASTERTON.
(Pet i'ress Association.) Mastekton, October 2. An eight-roomed house, owned by J. 8 P. Alpais, and occupied by R. K. Jackson, solicitor, was burnt at nine o'clock to-night. The house was insured, but the amount is not known There was no insurance on the furniture. Nothing was saved, and Jackton is i heavy loser.
