Per Press Association. Wellington, September 28. A young man named John Edwari

Lister, alias Ramsay, was committed for trial at the Magistrate's Court to-day 011 a charge of assaulting Thomas Ilaughoy and robbing him of 30 sovereigns. It is stated that llaughey, on the lyth inst., cashed a cheque for a hundred pounds. Accused mot him in a hqtel, saw that lie had money, and followed him to his house, and then committed tho offence.
