Per Tress Association. Auckland, September 28, The report and balance-sheet of the South British Insurance Company for the year ended 31st August shows a profit of ,664,833 2/6. After the addition of ,610,000 to the reinsurance fund, the amount at credit of profic and loss is .£95,635 13/1. .640.000 has been added to the reserve fund. The directors recommend payment of a dividend for the last half year of 3/ per share, making, with the interim dividend, 5/6 for the year. /.25,406 0/4 is canied forward to next year's account.
