FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT. Tlic usual biennial election of members of the Opunake Town Hoard took place in Opunake on Widnesday, iitilli inst., and resulted as follows :—W. C. Dudley 55, I£. C. JVleara'4B; C. A. I rotter 47, D. Koss 4(5. G. T. Yardley 46, A. Clougk 45, J. M. Hickey 4,2 ; J. iJ. Goldie 18. The first five were declared duly elected. The three at the head of tile pull (vera members of the old Board, whilst Messrs Ko-s and Yardley are new to local politics.
