At Wanganuion Thursday last Miss Iva May Kusden, of New Plymouth, was married to Mr Lewis H. Bassett, son of Mr W". B. Bassett, of Wanganui.
Dr. Schwarzbacb, a well-known German scientist and author, has arrived at Melbourne en route for the New Zealand Exhibition as representative of the German Press Association,
A London cable received last night announces the marriage, at Blandford, of Bishop Neville, Primate of New Zealand, to Miss Linda Fynes Clinton.
An alteration has been made m the style of the well-known firm of Malone, .UcVeagh and Anderson, solicitors. Mr Mc Veagh having severed his cen-1 nection with the firm to carry on business on his own account at Kllham and Kaponga, Mr A. H. Johnstone enters into partnership witu Messrs W. G. -VI alone and W. D. Anderson, and the urin will in future be Known as Messrs Malone, Anderson and Johnstone. Mr Johnstone will take charge of the firm's New Plymouth business, Mr Anderson remaiaing in charge of the Stratford office as heretofore.—"Post."
