Received 28th, 12.27 a.m. Sydney, September 27. There was another dear market at Home Bush. Cattle further advanced 10/ to £l. Best bullocks sold at £l2, extra at £l6 2/6. Good cows made to £l2, medium and lightweight beef 33/ per icolb. Best crossbred wethers brought 22/, extra good 23/, beet ewes 20/ to 21/.

The retail butchers complain that the wholesale price is now higher than the Australian meat is sold for in London, and a further advance will be made to-morrow Amongst the reasons given for the high prices are that graziers are stocking up on account of the good season and not sending to the market, and al6o the prohibition of Queensland cattle under the tick regulation.
