LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT. Horses: Heavy draughs sold at from £27 10 to £i<>; medium do., £lB 10 to £24; hacks and light harness horses. £<> 5; to £2O; buggy, j6"iS 5 dogcart. £l2 to'. At I'ukekohe on Wednesday dairy cows sold at from £.3 10 to £S 15/; do., heifers, £4 5 to £H 10/'; empty cows, £2 sto £3 18/. Three and four year-old steers and forward condition sold at from £$ 5/ to £(1 19;. A line of 51 steers from two and a half to three years old, in very low conditii n. sold at £4 10/; two vearold steers, £2 5/ to £3 176; yearlings and strong calves, 15/ to £l4. Beef, of which there was a good yarding, sold at Newmarket rates. At Waiuka, there was again a good yarding of stock of all classes, which sold well. Dairy cows sold at from £3 5, to £7 10/; empty cows, £1 to £3 17/6; grown steers, £5 10 to £(> 12 6 ; two to three vear-old do., £2 10 to £5 s'; caives. 15/ to 7, ; beef at Newmarket rates. Pjgs: Slips, 8 to 13,6; weaners, 12.6 to j£i 1 . Cattle: At the Newmarket yards. Dairy cows so'd at from £3 10. to £j \ empty do., £2 5 to £4; calves, '5 to £1 o . Beef, of which there was a good yarding, was mostly of choice quality, although no extra heavy weights were penned. Oxen sold to 23 per loolb, cow 17, to 20/. Steers sold at from £7 to £lO 17.0; cows, £4 to £7 12 6. VICKERS & STEVENS' REPORT. Vickers and Stevens report that there was a good muster of cattle at Inglewood on Wednesday, and the yard was glutted with springers.
