DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, September 19. Wheat: No business is being done in mil'ing qua'ity, although a fewsales are reported in northern markets. Prime milling nominally 3/5 to 3/6, medium to good 3,; ilO 3/4J, best fowl wheat 3/ to 3/2, broken and damaged 2/8 to 2/11 (sacks extra). Oats: There is some enquiry for shipping, but in most cases owners' reserves exceed shippers' ideas. Milling lines are in small demand, but good side Jines continue to move off treely. Seed lines 2,4 to 2/9, prime milling 2 2i to 2/3, good to best feed 2ji to 2/2, medium and inferior 1/10 to J 2/, (sacks extra).
BURNSIDE MARKET REPORT. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, September iq. Fat cattle: 204 yarded, mostly good to prime. Prices for really prime were on a par with last week, but inferior dropped 10, per head, but towards the close prices hardened some what. Best buhocks £lO 15/ to ,£ll/15, medium £9 to j£io io,, light £S to ,69, fat heifers £\ 15/ to £X. Fat sheep: There was a medium yarding, 1647 being penned. The sa'e opened at hardly equal to last week's rates, but towards the end prices improved to about 1/ to 1/6 over rates realised at the beginning of the sale. A large number of the sheep were passed in, prices not reaching owners' reserve. Good wethers sold from 23/6 to 26/3, extra prime to 27/3, medium wethers from 20/ to 22/6, light and inferior from 18/ to 19/, best ewes from 19/ to 22/, extra to 24/. Fat lambs: Six of the new season's lambs came forward and these so*d under spirited competition at 25/ each.
Pigs: 101 were yarded. Porkers and baconers sold under good compe tition at fully equal to last week's prices. Suckers and slips were n short supply, and sold 3t advanced -rates. Suckers sold at 8/ to 12 , flips from 14/ to 20/, stores from 24/ to 28/, porkers 33/ to 38/, slight baconers 43/ to 49,', heavy do. 53/ to 57/, choppers to 74/6.
