(From Our Own Correspondent.) On Tuesday evening a meeting was held in the hall wiih a view to i stoblish a ride club in the district. After discussion, a club was funned, to !)'• called the Hell Block District Rille Cub. Captain Rice w;l s olei ti'd president and secretary, Mr I'oli lieastner, and Mess:s lleslop, S reel, W. Iloskin, Rutherford, and I't'peiill a ptovisional committee to iol'eci information, canvass fir members, and repoit to a general meeting ol ihe cub to be hod on Monday, October jsr. A tennis club has been formed, wi-h Mr I'oti president and Mr Hoslop secret-iry. About thirty ladies and gontleimn are like|v to join this club, and a start will be made after the meeting called f.,r Monday evening- next. ,
