(From Our Own Cot resident.) The last meeting for the season of the Physical Culture and Boxing Club was held on the i ,th inst, most of the members being present. A pleasant evening was spent in boxing and physical exercises. The dub has nowbeen running for 4 years, and it is generally mnended to have had a beneficial influence. The lion. tteastirer announced "the clt|b had ;i substantial credit balance, and it was decided to commence next season ill the. first week of April. Mr Cooper, from W'averley, hasb'en appointed Creamery manager in p.'ace of Mr W. W. Herbert, w'lto lias resigned the position. I understand Mr Cooper will tiiso act as locai postmaster, The milk supply is increasing rapidly, and there is every prospect of an extra good season for the dairyman.
