NATIVES' GRIEVANCES.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Carterton, September 17. On Saturday, the Hon. James Carroll and Messrs Hornsby, Kidd, Ngata, and I'arata, M.H.R.'s, met a gathering; of natives at Papawai and Heard tnoi r grievances, the principal of which was the habit of a pakcha who extended his boundary fence as the waters of the Wairarapa Lake reraded. lh e Minister promised to look into the matter.
