LONDON MARKET ADVICES Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, have received the following cables from their London house, under date of the 13th inst. ; Butter. Market firm, without change in prices. The total imports of butter into the Unied Kingdom for the week ending the Sth inst. amounted to eighty-seven thousand cwt, as compared with seventy-six thousand cwt for the correspondingweek of 1005.
Frozen Meat. —Active demand for pork at sl<\. We expect the demand will continue at about sc! up to the end of December. There is more demand for frozen meat in general, and prices arc higher by Jd per lb for ah descriptions. Tallow-.—ln general higher by six-
pence to ninepence per cwt. The demand is chiefly for good to prime mutton talow. TRADE AND FINANCE. London, September 14. Three months' bills, 3j. Consols, SG|. New South Wales' threes, 87. Victorian three halves, 100. Queensland threes, 86J. New Zealand three-halfs, 100 L Other stocks unchanged. The English and French harvests have been completed with splendid yields. Large stock sa'es by needy farmers have depressed the markets. A shipment nf South Australian June is offering at 30/6, August 30/y. Australian spot is neglected, nominally, 31/, 31/6- New Zealand is exhausted. Flour.—Flat. Australian 22/ C. Holders pressing sales. Butter.—Very firm. Danish unchanged. The new season's Australian is excellent. Choicest unsahed 116; to 120,', salted 112/ to 116/. Old New Zealand 114/. Bradford Wool.—Quiet. Prices un changed.
