TRAMCAR ACCIDENT.

(Per Press Association. Auckland, September 15. A tram accident occurred at Epsom on Saturday afternoon, after the 1 akuranga Hunt Club races. It appears that a car was at a standstill when another came from behind and dashed into it. An elderly man, who was sittmg on a sandbox in the stationary car, was thrown to the ground, but save for a slight scalp wound was not otherwise injured. The passengers in both cars were considerably shaken, and the apron and platform of the rear car was' much damaged.
