L, Anderson, a railway man i down heve on a woelt's leave from Dnncdin, was fined 650 to-day on con- - viotion for soiling whisky out of a : bottle on the street last Saturday. He , did not c'ony being in possession of a ■ shilling's worth of whisky bought at ; the BhilY. for his own use, and giving a 1 nip to a man who had come in from the country and was wet and cold. This man gave evidence that he paid Anderson sixpence for the whisky.
