A sentence of six week* hard labor was imposed at thenolice C»urt to-day on a man named David Morgan who had exposed indecent cards to the wife o£ a hotelkeeper, and also to a barmaid. The Magistrate (Mr Barton, 8.M.) said the law did not inflict a monetary penalty, and if it did he would not be> inclined to use it, Accused' would be= I sentenced to six weeks, which would, teaoh him in future not to expose such, cards to females.
