VOLUNTEERING.
The usual fortnightly parade of the 'leadquartcr companies, Taranaki Kill,.* and Taranaki Uuards under the comaiand of Lieut.-Colonel Okey, was held iast night. There was a good muster f both corps, and some serviceable vork was done in outpost and night ittuck strategy. Color-Scrgt. Lister ivas presented with a haruUome marble "■lock, donated by Captain Okey to thc ililles for shooting, and won by the recipient. T ie laranaki Rifles annual re-union ill be held next Tuesday eyening.
