(From our own correspondent.) A meeting of teachers was held in Opunakc on Saturday afternoon for the purpose of forming a branch of the Teachers' Institute at Opunake. There was a fair attendance of teachers from the district, and it was resolved that a branch of the Taranaki Teachers' Institute be formed at Opunake. Meetings will be heid monthly. Mr Gray was appointed president, Mr Mason secretary, and Messrs Gray, Mason and Simms a committee.
