WARNING TO FRUIT-GROWERS.
P£B PRESS ASSOCIATION. i WELLINGTON, August 25. People who have pest infosted orchards ace warned that the Depart. meat of Agriculture intends launching out on a strenuous campaign. Since the Orchards and Garden Pests Aot was passed, tho department has not been too strict with people who have not taken sufficient care to keep their orchards clean. Cautions have been issued and orchards have been visited by inspectors to give owners every Mince to apply remedies during tho incoming season. However, the Act will be enforced with fair stringency.
