GARRISON BAND BALL.
The promoters of the Garrison Band ball, which eventuated in the Theatre Royal ion Thursday evening, deservo hearty congratulations on the successful efforts put forth to entertain their visitors. The thcatro was prettily decorated, the Moor in splendid order, (ho music from Turner's orchestra unimpeachable, the supper supurb, and the enjoyment hearty and general. Drum-Major Lister, Sergeant Flatt aud Mr E. Humphries were the M's C. The supper tables were beautifully decorated with spring (lowers by Messrs F. E. Clark, and Miss Birdie Clark, and the supper arrangements were ip the hands of Mesdames Dockrill (Prcsilent of the Committee), E. Jury, McConnell, F Richards, iiach, P. E. Clark, Haudley, Hoskin, Coleman, and Misses Nichol, McNab, and Birdie Clark. Officers of .the two local volunteer companies, and the headquarters staff were present.
