VITICULTURE.
Per Press Association. Wellington, August 17. Vine outtings received from Italy by Signor Bragato, Government Viticulturist, are to bo grafted on to American stock at the viticultural station, Hawke's Bay, with the object of distributing throughout the colony vines .suitable for producing the finest table grapes. At tho present time there is £2,000 worth of wine in the collar at Wacranga, Waikato. An offer for the whole has been rce;ived from one tirin. If [lie Department approves, Signor Bragato proposes to manufacture unformented wines next season.
