STARVING UNEMPLOYED.
STIiIKE FOE HIGHER WAGES. Received 11, 9.11 p.m. London, August 14. Two hundred unemployed at Fcnehley, who were in a starving condition, were selected to commence work on the construction of a reservoir at Hamp-tead. TUey were offered an hour, but demanded 7d. This not being conceded, they thereupon walked away.
