RESOLUTIONS. Per Press Association. Wellington, August 10. At the Conferonco of delegates oil the New Zealand Boxing Council, the matter of altering the Police Offences Amendment Act, in the direction of placing the control of boxing in the hands of the Council, and also making it illegal to hold a competition of any kind, without the consent of the local centre committee, provided a lengthy discussion, and ultimately it was decided that the Government should be approached in the direction mentioned,' The representatives unanimously agreed that the Australasian Championships should be continued, and that the Council's representative at the coming inference in Sydney, should endeayor to have a new agreement drawn up on linos that would be more favorable to New Zealand .than the old one. It was also decided that New Zealand favored the weighing of competitors on the first night only of competitions, and that the number of rounds should be six, of two minutes each, The question of a standard make of glove was considered, and the meeting favored samples being procured from English, Australian, and New Zealand makers

Godfrey (Auckland) beat B. Gould (Timaru), A. Trezise (Ashburton) fought a bye. Final: Godfrey beat Trezise. Light-weight—Se-cond round: A. Parker (Dunedin) beat A. J. Blewden; R. Mazey (Christchurch) fought a bye. Final: Mazey beat Parker. Middle-weight—Second round; J. Moloney (Wellington) beat J. Brennand (Timaru); A. Nask (Christchnrch) beat H.Wolff (Welling, ton). Jean Shaw (Christchurch) fought a bye. Semi-final: Shaw beat Maloney Final: Nash beat Shaw. Heavj. weight—Second round: B, W. Pearson beat T. C. Lewis (Auckland). Final: Pearson (Wellington) beat JW. J. Bobertson (Ashburton).
