G. Pate.-son (Alexandra South) with two minutes start, won the 50 mile race to qualify for tho Timaru-Christ-church cycle race. Time, 3 hours. John Wilson (Mitaura) was second, taking 3 hours Ilium,, The road was heavy in parts and but few of tho 11 starters finished.
