WEDDING BELLS.

LIMMER—PETCH, A very pretty Wedding was celebrated at St. John's Anglican Church, Waitara, on Wednesday, July 18th, when Mr Ernost Harry Limmer. eldest son of Mrs Limmer, Waitara, and the lata Mr S. Limmer, of Motuelca, Nclsou, was united in holy wedlock to Miss Edna Una Pctch, eldest daughter of .Mr It. J. retch, of Parnell, Auckland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. H. R. Jocks. The bride looked very pretty in her bridal attire, the dress ot which suited and fitted the wearer to perfection, was made of ivory white figured silk and ribbon, and artistically draped with .•hiffon in true lovers' knot. The bodice was made with a transparent yoke of embroidered chiffon, tastefully finished with frills of goffered chiffon edged with narrow ribbon, and a long spray of orange blossoms. In her hair nestled a wreath of orange blossoms, over which hung a richly embroidered veil. A dainty gold chain, with gold heart set in rubies, encircled her neck (a gift from the bridegroom), and she carried a lovely bouquet. The bride was given away by her uncle (Mr S. Petch), aud was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Freda Petch (sister) and a cousin, Miss Girlie Sole, who wore cremo spotted canyas voile dresses, tucked and trimmed with guipure insertion and ecru lace, and their cream hats were trimmed with cremo tips, lace, aud cluster of violets The bride's gift to the bridegroom vgis a pair of gold sleevcliuks. Air Arthur Limmer attended his brother as best man, and Mr Hubert Petch officiated as groomsman. After the ceremony, Mrs Li.umcr (mother of tho bridegroom) entertained a large circle of friends to a sumptuous wedding breakfast, at which many toasts were honoured. The bride's going-away dress was a blue Cheviot cloth, trimmed with white material of tho same kind. She wore a hat to match.
