Minutes of previous mooting were read ami confirmed. Fro n Treasury re subsidy, asking for information.—Resolved that chairman confer with Auditor. From James Elwin rc drains leading on to Devon Road.- Resolved that Mr Elwiu be informed that the Board requires him to remove the drain to prevent it liowinginto Devon Line, in accordance With the Act, as previously ■jioldi.'d in letter.--']'ho chairman staled lhat Ihe drainage was a menace to public health, and ratepayers could not be expected to put up with such a nilisanee. Resolved that the action of the chairman iu repairing bridges and finishing footpath curbing on licit road be eonlirmed, Resolved that -gd ra'c to be struck over the Barrett Road Board district, as a IvertiseJ, be confirm d, and that the chairman and Mr M-Allua sign the roll.
