EGG-LAYING COMPETITION
(Per Press Association.) OiiiiisTCHimctr, July 30. The statement for the 13tli week of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club's egg-laying competition at Lincoln College, shows that 622 eggs were laid during the week, miking a total to date of G.G37. The best totals for the week were: W. A. Nixon, Silver Wyandottcs, 23; A. H. Bristed, Buff Orpingtons, 19; J Ashton, Silver Wyaudottos, 19 . Mrs Gordon, Brown Leghorns, II). The, highest totals to date are J, Ashton, Silver Wyandottcs, 181; M. Blanch, 181; H. Pannoll (Christclmrch), Buff Leghorns 159.
