The Auckland "Star" speaking of Messrs Stonhaui Morrison's Gaumont Chronophone, which will show here next Thursday and Friday, says:— "The Stonhaui Morrison Company introduced the Gaumont Chronophone at the lioyal Albert Hall last eyening before a packed audienco. The song records are produced simultaneously with the picture and tho words of the pie:e made to correspond with the gestures and movements of tho singers' lips. A yery good effect was secured, particularly in the selections from " Maritana," " V'eronique," "II Bacio," also the fireman's song " Strolling home with Angelina," and several jther humorous items.
