MR HOLMAN RETURNED. (Received ;Bth, 4.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 29. Mr Holman is leading Mr 1- iu patrict for Cootamundra by 657. There are still fourteen returns to come, but tliey cannot alter the result.

(Mr John Norton, late member for Suirey Hills, recently challenged Mi Holman to resign and contest Cootamundra with him. Mr Norton was defeated for his old seat last Saturday, and has evidently met a similar experience at Cootamundra.
