WELLINGTON TRAMWAY RETURNS.
l'Elt I'BESS ASSOCIATION, Wellington, July 28. The balance sheet in connection witl, the Wellington Municipal Tramway service, for tlie year ending March 31st, was submitted to the Wellington City Council this evening, Tlu-balance-slieet is made out on the lines: recommended by the Conference oi Auditors and Accountants, held recently in England, The receipts amounted to £77,827. On the expenditure side £'7,436 was applied to depreciation, and a balance of £16,52-1 is carried to net revenue account. Out of this £12,093 is set apart for payment of interest on capita];"and £3,06 a for sinking fund purposes, leaving a net profit of £1,362.
