CARE OF SCHOOL CHILDREN.
FEE MESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, July 25. In pursuance of the proposal made by the Dental Association regarding examination of tho teeth of school children, Mr Bagnall said at a meeting of the Board of Education to-day, that since tho proposal was made by tho deputation which waited on the Board, ho had seen that tho Health Department was preparing a scheme with regard to the examination of public school children m connection with various matters, and ho thought it would be as well to defer this proposal un'.il it was seen what the scheme was for. It was possible that it might coyer the whole of tho ground. Tho Board decided to send ,a copy of the Dental Association's suggestions to the Education Department,
