FATAL TRAMWAY ACCIDENT.

PKtt PBESB ASSOCIATION. Dunbdin, July 22. Tho body of the man who was killed on the Roslya Tramway line by being pirtly run over while he was lying on the hue on Friday night, was identified as that of Calvert Sands, a cloth finisher. He was a single man, about 37 years of age, and of somewhat intemperate habits. At tho [inquest tho jury returned a verdict that deceased was accidentally killed, no blame being attachable to anyone. Deceased had travelled in an earlier oar, and was under tho influence of liquor, but he was quiet and apparently in the charge of nuotiier man. After leaving tho car, he must have followed the line down the steep descent into tho Kaikorai Valley, and either fell or laid down on the line.
