The downpour of rain donbtlew prevented a good number of people from attending the Theatre Royal, New Ply. mouth, on Thursday evuning to see the very tine scries of Living Pictures presented by tho ahoye wcll-knnwn management. Nevertheless there was a fair attendance. All seemed more than satisfied with the excellent entertainment given. Amongst the many high-class films shown those of "Sunuy Ceylon," "Building a Hailway," "The Hen That T.nid the Golden Egg," and " The Two Vagabonds " wwo the bo.I;. The latter may be classed as the clearest and most mirth-provoking that lias been shown here, " Building a Hailway" was a lengthy scries of pictures instructive and interesting to a degree.
