Paimehston Nobth, July 19. j In consequenoe of the heavy floods in the Manawatu and Orou# rivers, a portion. of -tlw railway line at Oroua Bridge and Bainesse, between here and Foxton, ii several feet under water, temporarily suspend* mg traffic. A large track of country at Oroua Downs is also under water ( though the undulating nature of the land has enabled stock to find places of safety, and no losses in this respect are expeoted.
