Competition was keen and prices advanced from 10s to 15s per head. Best bullocks £lO to £ll ss, extra to £l4 2s Od, good builock- £8 5s to £i) lOs, best heifers tli Ills to £B. extra to £9 17s 5.1, good to £6. Fat sheep: 2260p nned, the majority of which were good quality. The demand for this class was fairly keen. The sale was erratic and on the whole perhaps prices were about Is per head easier. Medium and inferior quality were even easier. Best weathers 2ts to 265, extra to 27s 9d, good wethers 19s to 23s 6d, best ew«« 18s to 21s, extra to 21s 3d, good ewes 14s to 17s 6d. Fat lambs: 351 penned. Prices showed a considerable improvement on last week's. Best lambs 17b to 18s 6d, extra to 19s 6d, good lambs lis to 16s Pigs : 171 yarded, and prices for all sorts] were firm. Suckers 6s to 8s 6d, slips 10s to 13s, stores 15s to 235, porkers 26s to 355, light basoners 36s to 425, heavy 41s to 48s, choppers to 60s.
