At the inquest at Balclutha on the remains of Mary Yardloy, found among the debris of a cottage destroyed bv fire, a verdict was returned that deceased met hor death in a fire which burned her cottage, but there was no evidence to show how the lire originated. The deceased, who was 49 years of age, had [been under the influence of liquor on the day previous to the fire.
