The Exhibition weekly report states tkat Mr George McGregor arrived on Saturday, with fifteen Maoris, who wilt undertake the necessary work in con. nection with the Maori pah. By the joint efforts of the Union and Huddsrt-Parker Companies, it is estimated that it will be possible to carry from 8000 to 10,000 passengers from Australia to New Zealand per month, should the oocasion demand it. The sports ground of the exhibition is now practically finished. The concert hall, the fernery, and the art gallery are also almost completed, and in the course of the next day or two the latter buildings will be taken over from the contractors.
