MEMORIAL SERVICE IN WELLINGTON. PER PBEBS ASSOCIATION. Wbiunoton, June 24. Over four thousand people attended the memorial service held to-dsy at the Town Hall in connection with the death of Mr Sodden. On the platform were clergy of nearly all denominations, the Premier and his colleagues, and members of both branches of the Legislature. Members of Mr Seddon 's family were also present. "Several hymns wero sung and a special prayer was offered by the Eev. P. N. Fair, clough. At the conclusion of the service the "Dead March" was played on the organ.
