ASHBURTON SHOW.
FEB FBEBS ASSOCIATION. Abhbubton, June 22, There was beautiful weather for the third annual combined Agricultural and Pastoral and Poultry Show, which opened this afternoon, The attendance was excellent and in every way the show is a great advance on its predecessors, entries being considerably heavier. In poultry there arc over 500 entries, fifty more than last year. There is a line display of fat sheep cattle, and pigs. A section was made for dogs, for tho first time, and attracted 38 entries. Home industries brought a largo number of entries. Mr J. G. Wilson, of Rangiora, with his hen, carried off the South Island Poultry Association's Championship for Buff Orpingtons.
