Levant was scratched for the Hawke's Bay hurdles at 10 a.m. today. The Hawks's Bay races wore postponed till Friday and Saturday, out of respect to the memory of the late Mr Seddon. By some unfortunate omission, the newspapers in Taranaki were not informed of the postponement, no word of which reached us until yesterday.
