Native reports say that Rua, the Maori pretender, about whom sensational statements were recently made, is to visit Gisborne on Wednesday, accompanied by a couple of dozen followers. A number of Maoris, by advertisement in the newspapers, forbid Run or his followers to visit their villages, otherwise proceedings will be taken. The notice is under the Maori Council's Act.
