PKB PBEBB ASSOCIATION. Wellington, June. 14. Hundreds upon hundreds of tributes to the late Premier are coming to the family and the Aetwg-Premier. The Government have beenjbusy answering piles of telegrams received since Monday, bat only a few can be quoted. To His Majesty the Xing, the following message wai despatched: "The Gov" •rnment and people of New Zealand desire to thank .Hit Majesty for his gracious message of sympathy on the death of Mr Seddon. The deceased Statesman had won the affection and confidence of New Zealanders to a degree unprecedented in our history and it is most gratifying to iiis Majesty's subjects in New Zealand to know that our Gracious Sovereign appreciates the loyal and distinguished service which Mr Seddon has rendered towards uniting and strengthening the bonds of kindship between the Mother Country and the outlying dominions of the Empire."

To H.R.H. the Prince of Wales : "'The acting-Premier respectfully requests His Excellency to convey to His IRoyal Highness the appreciation oE the Government and people of New Zca land of His Royal Highness" gracious message of sympathy." To the Secretary of State for the Colonies: "On behalf of Mrs Seddon and the people of New Zealand, the Government desire to return their sincere thanks to His Majesty's Government for the : r message of sympathy. Our late Prime Minister had won a reputation beyond the narrow' bounds of our own colony, and in thought and in deed he was ever wishful to promote the great ideal of Imperial unity. The kind feelings of regret and appreciation expressed by His Majesty's Government will find a response in the hearts of all New Zealauders."

Messages have also been despatched by the Hon. Mr Hall-Jenes, to the First Lord of the Admiralty, the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth, the State Governors, and many others.
