LODGE MEETINGS.
The quarterly meeting of Court Taranaki A O.P. was held on Wednesday night, Sub-Chief Hanger Bro. Br.iuml in the chair.
The balance-sheet for the half-year ended 31st March, was read, showing thejivorth of the Court to be £3131. Reference was made to the 'o-is Friendly Societies have sustained by the dcatli of the Premier, and (he following resolution was passed:— "That tliis Court sincerely d"plo-es the loss the colony has sustained by the death of the Right Hon. R. J. Seddon, and requests the district officers to forward a resolution o: reguet and sympathy witk (he family.ofthe dt'oeascd •Statesman, who at. yillgtimcs took a keen interest in the welfare of Friendly Societies."
The following officers were elected for the ensuing six months-C.R., Uro. C. 13. Leyer ; S.C.R Bro. J. N. Johnson ; S.W., Bro. J. Clark ; J.W., Bro. J. Jeukmson ; 5.8., Bro. C. Riley ; J.B . Bro. S, W. Jackson.
Bro. C. B Lever was appointed delegate to the next District Court meeting to he held at Hawera.
