PEK PRESS ASSOCIATION. Pate i, June 13. Owing to the Okaiawa juniors missing the train on Saturday I hey were unable to play their inaleji with the Tatea juniors. The match was pl.iyod today when Okaiawa won by 8 points (a goal and a try) to a try (3 points).

A meeting of tJic Tut' iiiaki Rugby Union Management CViirnittcc was held ill the Stratford Hotel on Tuesday evening, there being present: Messrs Bayly, (in the chair), Buchanan, Humphries, Matone, Shields, Wilson, j uy, and Skoglund (hon see.) EE-HEAEIN9 BEFCSKD, T. Smith, for whom Mr Anderson solicitor, appeared, asked to be allowed u re-open his case, as he had obtained I'un her eyidence. The application was not granted. ALLEGRO MISCO.VIJI'CT, S. Mynes appeared before the Union iu reference to the allege J misconduct m the Stratford Hotel, but no evidence being forthcoming, he was exonerated. It was resolved to disqualify W. Inch for two years. A RGI'EREE DISAPPROVED. It was decided to inform the Referees' Association that the Union uo longer approved the appoiutment of Mr P. Bowers as referee. A PROTEST UPHELD. Eltham 11, protested against Waimate A. being awarded the match won by the former team, on tiie ground that one of the players was a senior. The protest was upheld. A TPKAPA TROUIILE. Correspondence road from the Secretary of the Tukapa Club, askiug that an appeal be forwarded to N.Z R.U. 1 on the finding of this Unio l in regard I to the re-playing of the Tukapa-Cliftou match.
A further communication was received from the Chairman of the Tukapa Club's committee, asking that the appeal be withdrawn, as it had been sent without the authority of tho committee. The Club was allowed to withdraw the appeal. referee's reports. B. Hnrkness was reported by Mr Hopkins, referee, this player beinc ordered off for tripping. The player admitted having done so in the h,eat of the moment. Taking into consideration Harkness' manlv admittance of his fault the Committee reprimanded him and warned him not to so off cad again. Mr Kivcll, referee in the InglewoodClifton senior matches, reported Abbott and Potior (Clifton) for using disparaging remarks to him after tho game.—Held over, as Potier had not recived notice of the complaint in time.
Mr Proctor reported having ordered
a Stratford player olf the field in the Star 111-Clifton match, lie also reported C. Lowe, G. Lowe and Bridger for having left the field ot play, aud for having called on others to do so.
The first man was suspended for one month, C. Lowe and G. Lowe and Cummings to be reprimanded, the Union finding that Bridger had not left the licld of play. A SERIOUS ALLEGATION. The Clifton Club asked that Mr Kivell be not appointed referee in the mutches played by them, they being of the opinion that Mr Kivell is not competent, that lie is biassed, and that tliey have lost confidence in him as referee. The Clifton Club are to'be asked to Wring further evidence. 'I'IIE TOIMtINU Tli.lM. The Buller, Wesllaml, Goldficlds, and Thames Unions asked if tho Taranaki team could visit their districts this year. Tho Committee decided that the leiin could not include these places. A TRIBUTE or RESPECT It was decided to postpone next Saturday's fixtures in deference to the memory of the Wle Premier, and a letter of con lolence will be sent to Mrs ."ieddon an.l family, expressing the Union's syinpuhv in their bereavement.
