Mr Cathoart Watson seconded, and Messrs Gilbert Parker, Barnsa/ Mao. Donald and Burt supported the reso« lution.
Sir Joseph Ward, acknowledged the motion on behalf of the bereaved' family, the Government, and the people of New Zealand.
