LICENSING COMMITTEE MEETINGS.

PBE PBBBB ASSOCIATION. Auckland, June 8. The Manukau Licensing Committee met to-day and granted all but five: applications. The committee inspect these hotels and meet again three weeks hence. It is understood that tho committee propose to close two hotels. The Edon committee also considered the question of reduction in accordance with the result of the poll. They will visit the various hotels and hear evidence as to public convenience before deciding which hotel shall bo closed.
