AN ARMED LUNATIC.

SECURED AFTER LONG CHASE. FEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. Chbisichubch, June 6. A lunatic with a gun was secured at Yaldhurst to-day by two constables after a two day's chase. A bay named Pearson rushed in at him as he was climbing a gate, and a constable seized hold of the gun and turned it towards the ground, while the lunatic pulled both triggers. The charges tore up the ground within an inch of the policeman's foot. The lunatic was then captured.
